Immunohistochemical staining of PCNA and dystrophin. On day 7 after electroporation, PCNA-positive myonuclei residing within the dystrophin-positive sarcolemma were observed (white arrowhead), indicating that nuclei of mature myofibers are capable of reentering the cell cycle after electroporation.
