The mouse MCAo model procedure could induce a moderate-severity MCAo model, as well as that our method might obtain a higher survival ratio and stable model engineering using mice. In addition, rodent MCAo model engineering has to consider monofilament standard for a hand-made probe, tip outer diameter, probe insert length, maintenance of body conditions during operation, and occlusion time.
